How does it work?
French Classes in Micronesia
Wherever you are based, you can enjoy access to our French classes. Micromesia may be 11 hours ahead of the East Coast of America, but it makes no true difference and here’s why: in our French classes, students do most of the work alone and only occasionally meet up with the teacher for 20 min assessments.
Once we’ve had a full grasp of your French level, we recommend some exercises off this website and away we go! There will be no more reason to speak for a while.
OuiCommunicate is a coursework-based language school. We have the French language available for you on our website in the form of worksheets and videos. Your task is to complete those exercises based on your level.
Practically, you work on your French based on your teacher’s advice. We see each other for a 20-min video call during which he assesses your understanding of specific parts of French.
Speaking French will gradually be integrated as you develop better tools. French will be taught to you as a speaker of English, with full understanding of your background and your generation.
As a result, you can expect to build strong foundations in French to become a confident speaker. You will have all the tools to grow and develop as an independent speaker of French.

A word about Micronesia...
It can be hard to access quality educational resources in Micronesia. You will know better than any other that the upsides of living on an island also comes with a few downsides such as an availability of schools and teachers.
The limited space on each of the islands may not be ideal to set up a language school and the teachers may not always have an incentive to live there either.
We set up this web page in the hope that you would find us. We want to make our teaching of French accessible to learners worldwide and want to make it perfectly clear that location should never be an issue. Our students often don’t live in the USA but still enjoy our classes to the same degree.
We know that there are many languages across the islands of Micronesia but provided you consider yourself a native speaker of English, our classes might well be for you.
As native speakers of both French and English, we are in a better position to understand how you will approach French. We can direct our teaching towards learners who meet a certain linguistic profile.
The second factor is that we aim to teach learners of a certain generation whose experience in high school was similar to ours. We can offer personal support that is better suited to adult learners. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send an email. We’re happy to talk!
