Hi, I'm Chris. Head teacher at OuiCommunicate.

We're home to speakers of English who wish for a step up from traditional French classes by means of bilingual learning.

Our flexible approach to booking, as well as a "no class" learning method ensures higher results and considerable time saving.

I hope you enjoy your visit here and that I'll soon meet you for some French!

If you need flexible bookings

We can make your life easier!

Who are we?

How does it work?

A 40-class plan to cover French

Thanks to the Internet, there is no more need to be present in the same room to conduct a successful language class. There are actually many reasons why in-person classes are less effective, slower and quickly lead to becoming “hobby-classes”.

Probably not the best approach if you want to learn French with intent.

OuiCommunicate is a coursework-based language school. We have the French language available for you on our website in the form of worksheets, videos and quizzes.

You only pay for the 20-minute meetups with your teacher, in which we assess your understanding of specific parts of French.

Speaking French will gradually be integrated as you develop better tools. French will be taught to you as a speaker of English, with full understanding of your background.

As a result, you can expect to build strong foundations in French to become a confident speaker. You will have all the tools to grow and develop as an independent speaker of French.

Become our next "success story"!

The lady in this video is originally from NY and wished for us to help prepare her move to France.

Today, she is fluent and happily lives in France where she meets new people and uses French daily.

The “secret” to her success is nothing more than what we offer you: the same learning material and the same approach.

But don’t take our word for it: read the review she wrote for our Google Business page!

A word about Miami...

There are not too many American cities that have made it into the collective consciousness of Europeans. Miami is definitely one of the few even though saying “Je vais à Miami” sounds a bit like “I’m going to friend-friend” (ami-ami).

One handy thing about Miami is that it can serve as our very first French lesson together: remember that “a” and “i” always make the same sound in French and simply apply this rule to any word you encounter.

Since the word Miami has 3 syllables (Mi-a-mi), we can slip in a second French lesson: it’s always the last syllable that carries the weight. So instead of emphasizing the “a” as in English it is the “mi” at the end of Miami.

This short class does not presume that there are no language schools in Miami because there are. But none that do what we do. We specialize in bilingual French classes specifically made for speakers of English. We can do this because we are bilingual ourselves and this makes your job much easier.

As a speaker of English you carry a certain language logic within you. This interferes when you learn French, such as the accent you might have.

A “strictly French” teacher does not know what it feels like to be a native speaker of English. Even if they hear the larger of your mistakes, they will miss many others. And often, they won’t know how it relates to English.

Here’s an example: how does the future tense in English match up with the future tense in French?

Your typical FLE French teachers are not trained to know this. But we do times a million. We know how every little word and sound matches up between English and French.

Dear French students of Miami, we have come to make your learning easier. And in the hot, humid months of summer you might even find further comfort by staying indoors with some nice cosy online French classes and the AC on!

Hope to see you soon, Chris.
