Summary: We had our first talk on Dec 13 and I learned that Amanda has an interest in traveling and perhaps retiring in France. Amanda would like to be well prepared. She is based in California. She tried Duolingo and I already picked up a good pronunciation of some words. She expressed concern about masculine/feminine. She took French inhigh school and went to a French Club. She considers herself a beginner.
