Leicester French classes online!
Who are we?
How does it work?
Practical information
Thanks to the Internet, there is no more need to be present in the same room to conduct a successful language class. There are actually many reasons why in-person classes are less effective, slower and quickly lead to becoming “hobby-classes”.
Probably not the best approach if you want to learn French with intent.
OuiCommunicate is a coursework-based language school. We have the French language available for you on our website in the form of worksheets, videos and quizzes.
You only pay for the 20-minute meetups with your teacher, in which we assess your understanding of specific parts of French.
Speaking French will gradually be integrated as you develop better tools. French will be taught to you as a speaker of English, with full understanding of your background.
As a result, you can expect to build strong foundations in French to become a confident speaker. You will have all the tools to grow and develop as an independent speaker of French.
Become our next "success story"!
The lady in this video is originally from NY and wished for us to help prepare her move to France.
Today, she is fluent and happily lives in France where she meets new people and uses French daily.
The “secret” to her success is nothing more than what we offer you: the same learning material and the same approach.
But don’t take our word for it: read the review she wrote for our Google Business page!

A word about Leicester...
"At this rate it would take them a decade to know French!"
Why Leicester specifically? Well, for a start, I have very fond memories of Leicester and the University also. It’s where I got my first job as a teacher of French on campus and to this day I can still see the faces of the students in front of me. Truly good times, they were.
I used to love walking down New Walk to admire the architecture, go to the covered market, visit the charity shops, get myself a sausage roll and coffee from Greg’s…and the weather permitting saunter around Victoria park.
When my wife came over from the US I showed her Bradgate park. It was so freezing cold and she just has a flimsy jean jacket on. We will never forget it! But she loved to see the deer and the age-old knotted trees so typical of England.
I was based in Loughborough at that time and took the train to Leicester or the Skylink. After many back-and-forths of the kind, I discovered online teaching. It proved to be much more effective for the student and for myself, both time wise and regarding the learning of French.
On the one hand, I was spending so much time setting up the French class on campus with photocopies, moving the furniture about and commuting…literally spending 3 hours to get paid one. The students who came to class weren’t learning that much either. It was more of a hobby class they did once or twice a week. I thought “At this rate, it would take them a decade to know French!”
The advantage with online is that it is time effective as well as learning effective. The student had all the attention of the teacher and could even access or the learning documents online 24/7. Why waste time in a group class if the purpose is to learn French? It simply doesn’t work.
This “discovery” it what really got me into online teaching full time and it’s all linked to teaching French in Leicester. It showed what DIDN’T work and directed me towards what DID work. Thanks forever, Leicester!
I hope to meet you soon! Chris.
