We created the Plan 1 “Learn with a teacher” course with the beginner in mind. If you’ve ever taken a French class, you will know that 10 or 20 hours in, you are nowhere closer to your French goal. Worse still, of the 60 minutes you paid for, you only walked away with a few minutes of knowledge. A high percentage of your class was lost forever.
As a result, you have twice lost time:
a. Time and money practically during the class
b. Time and money potentially, since you could have learned French in a more targeted way if you had done it differently.
When you attend a French class with us, you will already have studied at home. The hours you spent learning are entirely free. This is your first big saver.
We do this because we know that the myth of learning during the class is the surest way to throw away hours of time. You easily lose 3/4 of every hour paid, which is priced at the cost of the class + however you value the worth of your time.

How do our classes work?
In 5 easy steps, each student has their own study plan. Your teacher will recommend specific parts of our French program, which you then complete in your own time. When you feel ready, meet up again for an evaluation of your skills.

At a low cost of 10$/hour, after 20 hours of tutoring and 200$ a student would not be closer to French.
1. They would not walk away with 200 hours’ worth of knowledge.
2. They would now be 200$ down with an uncertain road ahead and more uncontrolled costs.

Maths check 2
The true cost of hourly classes with mass-marketed schools and platforms.
Take the hourly cost of the class, substract 75% of lost time and add the potential value you give to your own time. Example:
20 dollars / hour
– minus 75% of lost time in class
equals 20 dollars per 15 minutes
equivalent to 80 dollars / hour (actual price paid)
Added to this the value you give to your time:
Grand total: 100 dollars / hour (lowest estimate)
