Start Me Off in French is ideal for beginners who need to get back into the swing of things and wish for an experienced instructor to take them through the first few laps.
Your French tutor will guide you through each step of the way to ensure that you are on the right track and that you miss none of the important foundational elements of French.
During these 10 hours of close tutoring, the student need just show up. All the rest is taken care of by the teacher. We will meet for a 60 minute video call on this website for a logical, step-by-step progression towards conversational French.
Just show up, your tutor will do the rest.
During these 10 hours, we will cover
_ Basic greetings
_ Understanding gender (le/la)
_ The pronunciation of French
_ Using our first verbs in the present tense
_ Expressing “my, your, his…” (possession)
_ Asking questions
_ Making a negative sentence (“not”)
_ The past tense to describe our day
_ The future tense
After the successful completion of these 10 hours you will be able to transition to Plan 1 and go on learning French autonomously with your newly-acquired confidence. Your tutor will still be there, but less needed.
Plan 1 contains 30 hours of French on video as well as 900 + pages of worksheets.
It contains 90% of all the French anyone would realistically require during a year – and more.
